Set of Three Michael Taylor Designs Montecito Garden Barstools

$6,800.00

A refined, signed set of three "Montecito" Barstools designed by Michael Taylor (Model #MTD-1080). The stools feature an optional premium finish in a pitted nickel tone. The powder coated frames have an intentionally distressed finish with a beautifully aged patina. The elegant bar-height stools feature tall spindle backs, scrolling arms, ball finials, and delicately molded uprights. The construction features accents of subtle fluting and acanthus foliate detailings in the neoclassical taste. The slender straight tapering legs are joined by X-framed stretchers, giving an airy and open feel to the design. The backs feature an airy vertical slat design with turned corner supports. The set is finished with later added loose seat cushions in a light off-white all-weather fabric, resting on an open geometric lattice designed seats. The chairs blend Neoclassical, California Coastal, and Regency styles, suitable for a variety of settings. Each chairs retain the original Michael Taylor Designs maker's plaques under the seats. The powder coating has an intentionally aged patina in a nickel or pewter toned finish as seen in photos. Arms measure 40" tall at finials. Sold as a set of three. From an estate in Bel Air, CA.
