Set of Six Mario Papperzini Style Iron Garden Dining Chairs

Dramatic and grand set of six patio and garden dining chairs made in the Italian manner and style of Mario Papperzini. The chairs feature iron frames with a gracefully arched backs having bronze finials on the corners. The backs are inset with a geometric lattice pattern in a neoclassical style. The set consists of six armchairs with newly upholstered seat cushions. The seats measure 19 inches high without the cushions. The seats are topped with conforming, thick seat cushions having a light grey linen style outdoor fabric. The front legs have a whimsical style with a splayed foot. The legs are conjoined by curved stretchers. Very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Sold as a set of six. These chairs are reminiscent of many iconic California designs made by producers like Rose Tarlow and Gregorius Pineo. From an estate in Bel Air, California.
