Set of Four French Mid-Century Iron Garden Lounge Dining Armchairs

$9,800.00

A charming set of four French mid-century modern painted iron patio and garden lounge armchairs finished in a whimsical Gumby green paint. Each chair is constructed with thick linear iron tubular frames topped with fitted loose off-white seat cushions. The seat cushions are plush and thick having a bouclé style fabric with button tufts on the backs. The frames are comprised of rounded posts and rails, an open back, lattice strap seat, and ball finial accents. The chairs draw from the tradition of French neoclassical mid-century modern garden furniture after designers such as Jean Royère and Jacques Adnet. The iron chair frames are painted in a bright and vivid garden green and finished with comfortable thick box seat cushions in a textured off-white fabric. The versatile chairs are well suited for use next to a pool, on a patio or terrace, or in a sun room or pool house. The chair frames are sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The vintage seat cushions are clean and presentable in good condition as seen in photos. Crafted in a similar fashion to McKinnon and Harris's Thirza Collection dining armchairs. Sold as a set of four.
