Opulent cast stone plaster dining table featuring a monumental garden ball finial or orb base. The giant sphere orb is very heavy and solid festooned with neoclassical style acanthus wreath swag. The finial is mounted with a scrolled iron support topped with a thick, beveled pane of round glass. The plaster has an intentionally aged patina to appear as aged stone or weathered marble. The table has a distinctive profile and design perfect for a center table. From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA. The large ball finial measures approximately 20 inches in diameter without glass.
