Fantastic and rare glass topped dining table made by French designer and sculptor Alain Chervet. The table features a double pedestal base of brass sculpted eagles with spread wings perched on an iron faux-bois branch. Amazing detail and craftsmanship with a polished finish. The eagles support a large pane of glass with round ends and a beveled edge. The artist signature is visible on the tail. Each eagle is 27 inches wide by 29 inches deep and 28 inches high. Impressive piece of mid-century modern functional art. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
