Set of Four Herman Miller DSS Mid-Century Fiberglass Side Chairs
$3,400.00
An iconic labeled set of four mid-century modern molded fiberglass "DSS" ("Dining Stacking Side") chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames and made by Herman Miller in Zeeland, Michigan. Each chair features a sculptural shell molded in a warm parchment or cream-tone fiberglass with a visible strand texture and waviness of hand-laid fiberglass construction. The chairs are raised atop a steel base crafted out of brush steel tubes wrapping around the chairs and terminating at the bottom with nylon floor glides. The sides are fitted with ganging clips, allowing the chairs to be linked in a tidy row. The stylish chairs are constructed in a Mid-Century Modern style and are well-suited for a variety of spaces as side chairs, office chairs, or dining chairs. Original Herman Miller manufacturer's tags are present under the chairs. Sold as a set of four.
