Set of 16 Industrial Oversized Iron Nuts Bolts and Link Plates

A remarkable and rare assemblage of American oversized industrial hardware, comprising of massive structural bolts, hex nuts, and cast iron linking plates. Likely produced in the late 19th or early 20th century and used for heavy structural applications, such as shipbuilding, bridge construction, or railroad industry. Eight bolts are present having cotter pin holes, measuring in varying size around 15" long and 4-5" deep, and retain original maker's marks on the caps. The five large hex nuts are also in varying sizes. The three link plates are crafted in a large scale in oval forms with oblong slotted openings. The set is finished in a deeply darkened and oxidized patina from age. Crafted in an impressive American Machine Age industrial style, the grouping is well-suited for use as a decorative objet d'art display. Sold as a set of 16. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
