Dramatic pair of neoclassical style Clivedon dining chairs designed by Ralph Lauren. The Italian bench made bespoke chairs feature a klismos style beech frame with a rich faux Macassar ebony veneered tablet backrest. The frames are upholstered with a dark espresso leather bordered by polished nickel tack nail heads. Solid and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The seat is supported by saber legs for a distinctive profile. Original order tags and Ralph Lauren plaque on bottom of seats. From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA. Sold as a pair.
