Pair of Dan Johnson Brown Jordan Sol y Luna Chaise Lounges
$4,000.00
An elegant pair of Brown Jordan “Sol y Luna” adjustable chaise lounges designed by Dan Johnson. Originally designed in 1954 and crafted from cast and welded aluminum, each chaise lounge features an open geometric lattice seat and back. The elongated frames rest on slender tapered legs, with low sweeping arms and curved side supports that create the distinctive movement and gazelle-like profile associated with Johnson’s Gazelle Collection. The adjustable reclining backs are supported by notched side mechanisms, allowing the lounges to be positioned at multiple angles. The lounges are finished in a weathered varying light to dark gray powder-coated surface with an attractive aged patina. Blending Italian modernist design with American construction. The lounges are sturdy with solid joinery and construction in good working order. The frames have a faded patina from exposure as seen in photos. The pair is well suited for use poolside or in a garden, courtyard, terrace, or sunroom. The chairs new MSRP begin at $3995 Each (SKU 2680-7800). The lounges measure 72" long while fully extended, and approximately 62" as shown in pictures. Sold as a pair. From an estate in Bel Air, CA.
