A handsome large Country French Provincial farmhouse trestle dining table measuring over 7' feet long. The table features a substantial 2.5" thick solid oak plank top that is constructed from planks showcasing beautiful radiant wood grain movement on the glossy smooth finish. The thick plank top is finished with gently rounded, smooth bullnose edges. The top is supported by a large trestle base comprised of two pairs of turned baluster column legs rising out of shaped, wedge-form shoe feet. The legs are connected by a long and thick stretcher secured with visible hand-carved wood-nail wedge joinery. Crafted in a rustic French Provincial country farmhouse style, the oak table is well suited for a variety of classical, country, and contemporary spaces. The table is heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The table has ample leg clearance measuring over 27" inches from the floor to the apron. The finish has a desirable aged patina commensurate its age and use.
