Stephen Cavallo Louis XVI Style Carved Wall Mirror

$2,000.00

Distinctive hand-carved wall mirror by Stephen Cavallo, New York. The mirror features an intricately carved thick frame in the grand French Louis XVI taste. The top of the mirror is centered by a large neoclassical urn with ribbon swag and floral vines surmounting the urn. The mirror plate is bordered by a repeating bellflower rope design with rosettes on each corner. The bottom of the mirror is centered by a large baroque style rocaille shell and supported by small tapered feet. The wood has an intentionally distressed patina on the finish to mimic age. Very heavy and solid with original Cavallo label on the back. From a Mario Buatta installation in the Napa Valley, CA.
