Exceptional English Regency style convex Girandole mirror made by Friedman Brothers decorative arts. Painstaking model of an 18th century hand-crafted gilt wood Girandole mirror. Features a large 21 inch convex or bullseye mirror with an ebonized wood border set in a huge ball frame with rope trim. The frame is surmounted by an eagle perched on top with its wings spread holding a ball and chain. The sides and bottom of the mirror are decorated with acanthus and wheat sheafs having an acorn finial on bottom. Nearly 3 feet wide and over 4 feet tall. This large mirror is an impressive focal point. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
