Elizabethan Style Dining Table Speckled by Artist Ira Yeager

$5,500.00

Whimsical English dining table lacquer speckled by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The table was crafted in the Elizabethan/Jacobean taste with two large leaves. The leaves have been permanently mounted to the top and do not remove. The top is supported by distinctive turned fluted legs ending with bun feet. The table features a lacquer redux having a beige speckled finish over a black ground. Ira loved painting furniture for his gallery to showcase his artwork. The speckled top has a stylized animal print design with a gloss finish. This design was used on his large art canvases instead of frames. The base of the table is finished in a matte dove grey lacquer tone. Provenance: From the Yager Galerie in the Calistoga, CA. Ample legroom measuring over 25 inches from the floor to the side apron.
