Distinctive late 19th century country Italian provincial style farmhouse dining table crafted from oak. The table features a two inch thick plank top with breadboard ends supported by a trestle base. The base has thick baroque style shaped, chunky legs conjoined by a long stretcher. Very heavy and solid constructed mostly with wood peg joinery. Made on a large scale with a handsome, imposing profile with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The rick oak has a desirable aged patina on the finish.
