Substantial country French farmhouse dining table featuring round demi-lune ends. The table features a 2.5 inch thick top crafted from large oak timbers. The top is supported by a trestle base having hourglass form legs ending with 5.5 inch thick shoe feet. The legs are conjoined by a long stretcher with exposed mortise and tenon joinery. Very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Large scale with a distinctive profile and round ends to soften the massive design of the table.
