Fantastic pair of large 36 inch block shaped tables featuring a tessellated veneer of radiant horn. Produced in Columbia by William Piedrahita for Thomas Britt in the 20th century. Each square block has thick square parson style legs with pyramid shaped aprons in a geometric design. The horn veneer is crafted from 8 inch squares of beautifully colored horn having a flame movement. The horn has an aged patina with fading and losses that has created a rich complex patina on the finish. Perfect as display pedestals in an entry or as center tables. Price is for the pair.
