Dramatic extending dining table with two leaves produced in the 70s in Colombia by William Piedrahita for Thomas Britt. The table features a horn veneered top and sides in a stylish chevron style pattern. The table measures 84 inches wide and 126 inches wide with the two leaves installed. The table top has 2 inch thick sides which are veneered. The top is supported by a pair of repurposed sawhorse legs on each end that are not attached and do not adjust in height. The versatile table could serve as a work table, dining table, or even displayed as decorative art work on a wall. Numerous small losses, and lifting veneer as seen in photos. Includes two 21 inch leaves.

Condition: Distressed, wear consistent with age and use. Repaired: old repairs. Minor losses. Beautifully crafted with age appropriate wear, fading, age cracks, scuffs, chips, shrinkage, lifting and old repairs to horn veneer. Legs support top but would benefit from upgrading for heavy everyday use and a protective glass cover on top.
