Elegant French Louis XVI style late 19th/early 20th century fruitwood diminutive oval drop leaf dining table or console table. The table features drop leaf sides with an oval top measuring 43.5 inches deep open and 22.5 inches deep when closed. The table is supported by round tapered legs ending with patinated brass casters on the feet. The drop leaves operate with a simple handle on each side of the table, one for each leaf. The versatile table could also serve as a breakfast table, occasional table, or display. The fruitwood has a desirable rustic, aged patina with a dark honey toned finish. Solid and stable from an estate in the Napa Valley, California.
