Rare set of six barrel back form dining chairs or armchairs made in the British colonial style by Ralph Lauren Home. Known as Modern Sands collection chairs they feature a mahogany frame with a round back inset with woven rattan on the seat and sides. The chairs have a dramatic profile and are topped with tufted loose seat cushions with an organic modern linen style fabric in off-white. The chair frames are thick and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Sold as a set of six that includes seat cushions. Each chair has a Ralph Lauren plaque on bottom. The rich, dark finish on the mahogany has a very subtle intentionally aged patina that compliments the design.
