Exquisite set of six French square back dining chairs crafted in the neoclassical Louis XVI taste. The carved frames feature a distinctive square back and seat with a Gustavian style painted finish in a matte dove grey tone. The chairs are newly upholstered with a muslin style fabric in an off-white tone. The finish is intentionally distressed and faded to mimic age. The chairs are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The generous seats have carved rosettes on the corners with a raspberry pink tone accent. The seats are supported by tapered, fluted column style legs. The chairs have a neoclassical silhouette with crisp lines. Sold as a set of six.
