Set of Four Papperzini Style Amalfi Iron Garden Chairs
$2,400.00
Iconic set of four Amalfi patio and garden dining chairs made in the manner and style of Mario Papperzini by Charleston Forge, North Carolina. The chairs feature a wrought iron frame with a bronzed finish. The backs of the chairs have a geometric lattice inset and ball finials on each corner. The generous wheat-toned seats have a woven rush bottom that is wide and comfortable. The seats are supported by splayed legs conjoined by demilune-shaped stretchers. The chairs are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The iron has a dark oil rubbed bronze style finish. The design is airy with a slender profile in the European decorateur movement of the 1950-1960s. Sold as a set of four.
