Rare Mid-Century Modern monumental three part cabinet or credenza designed by Renzo Rutili (Lorenzo R. Rutili American 1901-1966) for Johnson Furniture Co. Set of three walnut cases with double doors mounted on an elevated Stand. The six doors are decorated with geometric graduating shapes centered by a patinated brass pull. The doors open to reveal a shelved storage area with adjustable height shelves. The cabinets are mounted on a long Asian floating style Stand with short legs ending with brass clad feet. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an aged patina on the dark, rich finish. Original makers label on interior shelf. One of Renzo's most iconic designs.
