A grand Ralph Lauren Home “Noble Estate” two-piece bunching china cabinet or library bookcase in richly toned mahogany crafted in an elegant English Georgian style. The unique reverse breakfront cabinet is composed of two flanking towers surmounted by cornice moldings and a central lower cabinet having storage drawers. The cabinet is executed in a deep polished red-brown radiant mahogany with stepped crown and chair moldings. The imposing cases feature plinth bases, molded panel doors, glass shelving, scrolling accents, neoclassical columns, and polished brass wire screen door panels. The upper section features four glass doors fitted with decorative brass diamond-pattern lattice grilles. The brass lattice grill panels doors open independently for cleaning. Inside are three sets of four adjustable interior shelves having elegant brass integrated lighting, ideal for displaying china, crystal, or books. The lower register includes paneled mahogany doors showcasing the mahogany woodgrains with additional storage having a central felt-lined drawer for silverware. The bookcase includes stylized keys for each cabinet door. The piece works wonderfully as a china cabinet, library bookcase, bibiotheque, or display cabinet. Includes original Ralph Lauren tags and makers plaque. The cabinet is constructed in multiple pieces for easier transport and installation. The case is heavy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship as seen in photos. The cabinet is in exceptional, well preserved condition.
