Monumental Black Marble Case Leather Sideboard Credenza

Bespoke monumental sideboard or credenza crafted from black marble appearing as a solid block case. The imposing credenza is incredibly heavy and solid weighing an estimated 800 pounds. Finished on all sides fronted by geometric leather clad mahogany storage doors. The back has a matching leather clad side. The storage doors have patinated brass handles on top hidden from view. The doors open to reveal a shelved interior. The Italian marble has a dazzling veined finish with gold and white over a dramatic black ground. The case has a floating design with a marble base support underneath. The design gives the case an impression of a solid monolith of marble. Very impressive piece custom made for an executive office in San Francisco, CA.

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Beautifully crafted with age appropriate wear and fading. Chips along bottom edges of support as seen in photos. Top is lightly scuffed, faded, and would benefit from polishing. Leather has an aged patina.
