Modern custom-made coromandel screen purchased from Gracie features thick, smooth panels of black lacquer intricately incised with color pigments. The screen depicts a Chinese Ming dynasty Imperial palace with figures engaged in leisurely activities. The reverse side is void of any decoration. Beautifully crafted to rival 17th-18th century masterpieces as stated in the accompanying brochure from Gracie. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. Has a reflective finish.
