Stunning organic modern rattan lounge chair made in the California coastal style by McGuire artisans. The chair features a pole rattan frame having an open fretwork design back and sides in the Chinese Chippendale taste. The rattan has been lacquered in a bespoke satin black finish. The rattan is lashed together on the exposed joints with leather rawhide strapping. The chair is sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The generous seat is very comfortable with wide arms. The chair has a dramatic graceful profile and finish with a newly upholstered seat cushion in a white linen style fabric. From an estate in San Francisco, California. McGuire makers plaque on bottom. Includes a back cushion also.
