A handsome 20th century English Regency style tall executive office desk chair in an opulent royal blue leather. The stately swivel chair features deep button tufting across the seat and back, accented by decorative antiqued-brass tack nailhead trim across the entire chair. The exposed hardwood arms are finished in a graceful shepherds' crook scroll having a warm stained finish. The chair is set on an iron and hardwood five-leg base having a swivel mechanism and ending with casters. The chair is executed in an English style combining elements of Regency and Chesterfield styles to create a traditional silhouette in an eye-catching royal finish. Arms measure 26" tall. The chair is sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. From an estate in the Napa Valley, California.
