Theodore Alexander Castle Bromwich Mahogany Jupe Dining Table
$5,800.00
A handsome circular expanding pedestal "Castle Bromwich" jupe style dining table made by Theodore Alexander. Hand-crafted from Khaya African mahogany, the table features a self-storing expanding flip-leaf function, consisting of eight triangular leaves folding out to form an elegant geometric radiating star pattern. The top sits on a tapered architectural pedestal with raised panel sides and veneered accents. The central column descends into to a quatraform plinth on four bold scrolled feet resting on adjustable slides. The rich mahogany finish has been intentionally hand-distressed to create a beautifully aged patina. The table is heavy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship in exceptional condition. Crafted in a stately country English Regency style, the substantial table is well-suited for use as a dining table, library table, or as a center table. Theodore Alexander original signed maker's plaque is located under the table. When closed, the table has a diameter of approximately 39". From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA.
