Gorgeous tessellated stone desk by Maitland-Smith made in the Carlton House or Georgian style. Features a large case veneered with polished stones and having six small graduated storage drawers on top centered by four large storage drawers. The front of the desk has three large drawers and the piece is supported by square legs. The entire desk is covered with a labour intensive polished veneer and brass hardware with banding. The case has a stylish wraparound modern design and profile in excellent condition.
