Impressive early 20th century Spanish baroque style library table or dining table crafted from oak. The table features an amazing bleached oak finish that truly brings out the classic design accented by the dark, patinated iron stretchers. The trestle base has lyre formed canted legs on each side and is conjoined by the forged iron supports. The base is topped with a 1.5 inch thick plank top. The table has ample leg room measuring over 26 inches from the floor to the apron. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an intentionally aged, bleached patina on the finish. This table could also serve as a console or entry table with a classic Spanish colonial profile.
