Rare tripod pedestal drinks table made in the grand neoclassical Louis XVI taste by Maison Jansen, France. The early 20th century table features a dodecagon top with burl veneer inlay and a small galleried edge. The top is supported by an acanthus decorated turned column having whimsical gracefully curved scroll legs ending with ball feet. The table has an ebonized lacquer finish with parcel gilt accents. Rare table with Jansen signature stamp on the bottom. The design also has regency and empire design influences. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
