Grand set of twelve patio and garden dolphin and star dining chairs attributed to Kenneth Lynch and Sons, Oxford, CT. The set consists of all armchairs with the optional filagree seat having a scrolled acanthus motif in the neoclassical taste. The iconic chair is crafted from strong cast aluminum with a later painted finish in a dove grey tone. The seat crest is decorated with the famous star motif in the center and surmounted by ribbon swag along the top. The arms measure 23.5 inches high and have decorative dolphin supports. The chairs are heavy and solid sold as a set of 12. No seat cushions included.

Condition: Distressed, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong, solid joinery and construction. Chairs have been repainted in the past with an aged patina on the finish as seen in photos. Age appropriate wear and fading with minor chips, scuffs and scratches. No seat pads.
