Set of Twelve Nancy Corzine Louis XVI Style Dining Chairs


Grand set of twelve French Louis XVI style dining chairs by Nancy Corzine. Known as the Paris chair. The set consists of 10 side chairs and 2 armchairs measuring 26 inches wide. Made on a large scale with generous seat proportions and handcrafted from mahogany. The frames feature a round back and a molded seat decorated with rosettes in the neoclassical taste. The chairs are supported by tapered and fluted legs ending with toupie feet. The thick frames have an amazing attention to detail with a fine french polished finish on the mahogany. Upholstered with a damask brocade fabric having a Fortuny style design. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French profile. From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA. All chairs have makers labels on bottom.
