Remarkable set of twelve hand-crafted French dining chairs constructed from fruitwood. Made in the country French provincial taste featuring caned seats and backs. The shaped back conjoins to a seat with serpentine shaped aprons supported by cabriole style legs. The chairs were painstakingly hand-crafted in the old world style with wood peg joinery. Solid and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship having a warm honey toned finish on the fruitwood. The seats are topped with thin conforming seat cushions in a textured fabric with a light blue and white tone. Lovely French provincial profile and patina.
