Set of Six Orlando Diaz-Azcuy for McGuire Dining Armchairs


Spectacular set of six bamboo rattan dining armchairs designed by Orlando Diaz-Azcuy for McGuire furniture. Organic modern contemporary design known as "Prescott" armchairs or salon chairs. Constructed from rattan poles lashed together with leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints. The curved square back inset with spindle style supports gracefully curves down to 25 inch high arm rests. The generous seat is upholstered with a gilt bamboo motif fabric over a dramatic black ground. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an iconic profile. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA. Each chair has a McGuire makers plaque on bottom.
