Set of Six McGuire Rattan Cathedral Back Dining Chairs

Handsome set of six genuine McGuire rattan dining chairs consisting of four side chairs and two host armchairs measuring 23 inches wide and 23 inches deep. The chairs are crafted from thick rattan poles with a gothic lancet arch design on the backs and an open fretwork on the sides in a Chinese Chippendale style. The exposed joints are lashed together with leather rawhide laces. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a dark tobacco finish. The seats are topped with vintage fitted loose seat cushions and two small bolster pillows in a matching fabric. The chairs have the McGuire makers plaque on bottoms and pearl M on the backs signifying their highest quality bespoke pieces. From an estate in Napa, CA.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong solid joinery. Very good condition with age appropriate wear and fading. Finish is slightly faded from exposure and has minor variation. Vintage fabric is presentable, but slightly faded with minor stains as expected.
