Magnificent set of six Italian Venetian dining chairs. Hand-carved in the grand Rococo taste. Constructed from thick walnut with a rich finish and a desirable aged patina. The set consists of four side chairs and two host armchairs measuring 24 inches wide and 23 inches deep. Classic Rococo design of intertwined ribbons on the back splat and rocaille shell motif on the front seat apron. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with later added soft leather seat cushions having a matching aged patina in a rich cognac finish. The seats are supported by cabriole style legs. Chairs are stamped made in Italy. Refined and elegant, but with a rustic charm and provincial aesthetic. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
