Exquisite set of six 20th century French dining chairs crafted in the Louis XVI taste. The chairs feature carved and painted frames with an oval cameo back. The frames are upholstered with a dark rośe colored mohair velvet bordered by patinated brass tack nail heads. The seats are supported by fluted legs with carved rosettes on top ending with toupie feet. The painted finish has an intentionally aged patina as seen in photos. Strong and solid with good joinery and construction. Good, well preserved condition with a desirable aged patina. Sold as a set of six.
