Extraordinary set of six 19th century French mahogany dining chairs featuring hand-caned seats. Made in the grand Louis XVI taste with neoclassical fluted column front legs. The rich mahogany frames have a round upholstered back with a chevron pattern fabric and matching seat pads with tassel rope ties. Beautifully carved with rosettes on the seat, apron, and delicate ribbon bows on top of the seat crests. Elegant set of French chairs with a beautiful profile and grace. Seat measurement taken without pads.
