Set of Six English Regency Style Mahogany Leather Dining Chairs

Opulent set of six English mahogany dining chairs made in the grand regency style. The chairs feature a mahogany frame with a scrolled back. The gracefully curved back conjoins to a generous seat with a bowed front. The chairs are upholstered with a rich, dark leather the back having button pillow tufts. The leather is bordered by patinated brass tack nail heads. The seats are supported by fluted, tapered column-style legs decorated with acanthus and ending with patinated brass casters. The rear legs are splayed. The frame has a lovely reeded finish with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Comfortable and sturdy with a nicely aged patina on the finish. Sold as a set of six.
