Remarkable set of six large balloon back dining chairs made in the country French provincial style. The chairs feature generous, thick wood frames with a subtle cerused or glazed finish that has a bleached, weathered appearance. The finish showcases the natural woodgrains in an organic modern style. The strong chairs have a large oval back conjoined to a wide seat with a curved apron. The seat is supported by gracefully curved cabriole style legs and upholstered with a linen style fabric in neutral cream color. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship made on a large scale with a handsome profile. Sold as a set of six.
