Set of Four Rose Tarlow Style Iron Lattice Garden Chairs

$9,800.00

Whimsical set of four iron patio and garden armchairs made in the style and manner of Rose Tarlow. The chairs feature large hand-crafted iron frames with a neoclassical style lattice inset on the seat and backs. The frames have a gracefully curved humpback conjoined to scrolled arms. The generous seat is supported by cabriole legs in the front. The legs are conjoined by demi-lune stretchers. The chairs have an aged, distressed painted finish on the iron that adds to their charm and character with old paint remnants in Robins egg green and verdigris patina. The seats have conforming seat cushions with a 1970's Jack Lenor style bold print fabric having a stylized lotus foliate motif. The cushions are presentable given their age and use with minor signs of wear. The chairs are large with a dramatic profile from an important Southern California estate. Includes the original cushions as well as cushions shown in photo.
