The chairs feature a whimsical balloon shaped back crafted from bent rattan poles and filled with an open rattan wicker lattice. The arms sweep forward and end in pole columns. Curved lattice panels sit below each arm in the gallery repeating the back pattern. The joinery is hand-wrapped with rattan peel in crossed corner bindings. The cream rattan joinery contrasts cleanly with the darker pole frames. The chairs stand on top of bundled rattan pole legs joined in the rear by a straight stretcher. Each chair is finished with a loose seat cushion in a textural oatmeal-tone fabric set over the rattan spindle deck. The chairs have solid frames with strong joinery given age and use. The rattan has a lovely honey toned aged patina. Crafted in a blend of Hollywood Regency, California Coastal, and Palm Beach Tropical styles, the chairs are well-suited for a variety of spaces. Sold as a set of four.

Dimensions: 26"w x 25"d x 41"h, Seat 18"h

Circa: 20th Century, France

Materials: Bamboo, Fabric, Rattan, Wicker

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use.
