Set of Four French Mid-century Folding Painted Armchairs


Distinctive set of four French mid-century modern folding armchairs. Made in the campaign or bistro style featuring a deep blue painted finish on the steel and wooden slats. Unknown maker however, this style of continental chairs were the inspiration for many post modern designs such as Marco Zanuso's Celestina chair for Zanotta and many more. Elegant design with a lovely profile. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
