Set of Four English Regency Style Leather Library Armchairs


Stately set of four hardwood and black leather library armchairs made in the grand English Regency taste. Made by Interior Crafts of Chicago, IL. The chairs feature hardwood frames with a large scrolled arm and padded rests. The barrel form frame has a generous seat with a thick seat cushion. The chairs have a black leather upholstery bordered by brass tack nail heads. Supported by turned legs in the front ending with casters. Beautifully crafted with solid, strong joinery and a lovely aged patina. Classic regency profile in a William IV 19th century design.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Strong joinery with age appropriate wear and fading. Intentionally distressed finish on wood, leather, and brass with an aged patina as seen in photos. Finish has been restored in the past.
