Set of Eight Neoclassical Klismos Style Lacquered Dining Chairs


Gorgeous midcentury set of eight French lacquered dining chairs crafted from Beech in the neoclassical directoire style. The frames feature a klismos form with a tablet back and a square seat supported by saber style legs. Intentionally aged, distressed patina on the lacquered frames accented by cool mint green highlights. The backs are decorated with carved urns in a neoclassicism style. Newly upholstered with a geometric fabric having laurel leaf style stripe patterns. Dramatic profile with a lovely patina having excellent joinery and craftsmanship.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Reupholstered. Beautifully crafted with an intentionally distressed patina on the lacquered finish. Age appropriate wear with new upholstery fabric.
