Rare set of eight rattan and cane dining chairs featuring a cameo back with graceful x form designs. Made in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire San Francisco, CA. The frames have an intentionally aged, distressed patina on the finish. The rattan is reinforced with leather rawhide laces in a contrasting cream tone. The generous caned seats are topped with fitted loose seat cushions in a neutral cream colored linen fabric. The cameo backs have small arms on each side that curve down to the seats. The seat has decorative fretwork spandrels on the legs. The chairs have a dark finish and unique profile from an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
