Set of Eight McGuire Organic Modern Caned Rattan Dining Chairs

Rare set of eight genuine McGuire rattan dining chairs made in the California coastal organic modern style. The set features generous rattan frames in a directors chair style with straight legs conjoined by x form stretchers. The chairs have a double-wall caned back and an ergonomically curved cane seat. The seats are topped with a thick linen covered cushion that was newly upholstered. The rattan is lashed together with leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints. The chairs have a handsome aged patina on the dark finish. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with makers plaque on the bottoms of chairs and pearl "M" inlay on the backs of the chairs signifying McGuire's highest quality production pieces.
