Dramatic set of eight English hardwood dining chairs featuring a black lacquered finish. Made in the Regency style with a klismos tablet back rail and transitional William IV style turned front legs. Elegant design and profile with saber curved legs in the rear. Upholstered with a black stripe silk style fabric that still shows well. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
