Gorgeous set of eight painted garden chairs or dining chairs made in the manner and style of Cyrus Wakefield Bar Harbor. The chairs are constructed from sturdy rattan frames with an open fretwork design of wicker. The chairs feature a tall square back and generous seat bordered with braided rattan. Finished in a dramatic squid ink black thick paint and topped with neutral cream colored linen fabric upholstered seat pads. The seat cushions are fitted loose pads that tie in the back with long ties. The seat apron is arched and the seat is supported by straight legs with decorative ball finials. Lovely organic modern coastal style from an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
